Tyler Perry recommends Akeelah andthe Bee

I plan on seeing it soon!!
From Tyler:

What's up Everybody, it's me T.P.I just wanted to say hello, and tell you about a few things that havetouched me lately. Before I do, I'd like to talk to you about Akeelah andthe Bee. Now, I know you guys are probably tired of hearing me talk about this movie, but it is really good. Angela Bassett, Laurence Fishburne, and KeKe Palmerwere on Oprah yesterday talking about the movie. The movie is important forso many reasons. I think our children need to see a movie telling them thatit is okay to be smart and okay to be good in school. There are so manythings that tell them the opposite. This movie not only makes them feelgood, but it makes adults proud and it is just a good heart felt story toldin grand fashion. I'm just upset I didn't think of it first, I'm kidding. Iget a lot of request from people asking me to send out emails to all of youabout movies and things but I don't, not for any amount of money. For me, IfI don't believe in it or like it, I ain't sending no email about it. Ya'llwill not be talking about me on the message board. Again I don't get a dimefrom this, but it really doesn't matter because this movie is so important.Go to http://www.akeelahandthebee.com/splash.html to check out the trailerand see what I mean. Please go see this movie, I can't remember a time whenI saw a movie where a little black girl was the star of a movie, can you.I'm not telling you to go see it because of that, but because she is goodand the movie is great, you'll see. It opens this Friday everywhere. Speaking of children, I want to tell you about two young men thatchanged my life. I met both of these boys through the Make a WishFoundation. They wanted to meet me, and I met one a few months ago and one justyesterday in Tampa. One is named Jarred, and the other name is James. Theyare 14 and16 years old. If you know anything about the Make a Wish Foundation, youknow that these kids are seriously ill. The foundation gives them a wish, and both wanted to meet me. I thought to myself "you can meet anybody andyou want to meet me." Wow! Anyway when I looked into their eyes both ofthese kids had so much life in them. No matter how sick or how many monthsin the hospital, they had hope. So, if every I get tired and think aboutcomplaining I remember these two brave and strong children. They have a wayof putting it all into perspective for me. So maybe when you pray you canjoin me in calling their names Jarred and James, I have always been apraying child of God and I believe in the power of it. Let's pray for thestrength of their parents both are single mothers and they need our prayers.Thank you and God bless. Again just thank you, thank you thank you,, for those of you who areasking "for what?" You know what you've done to help me get here. BeBlessed, I'll talk to you soon.Oh P.S.On Monday, check out your email from me. I have BIG NEWS, BIG NEWS, I am soexcited about this. I can't talk about it until then but I can't wait to share it.
